The Role of Haj Ramadan in the History of Resistance
Rouhani continued: "Haj Ramadan was from a generation of resistance commanders who dedicated a significant part of their lives to supporting the Palestinian people and strengthening the resistance front. He may be less known to many people, but his role over many years in supporting the resistance is part of the contemporary history of the region."
The mayor of District ٦ pointed out the impact of Haj Ramadan's bust in Palestine Square, stating: "When the face of a martyr is recorded in one of the most important squares related to Palestine in Tehran, it is not just a bust being unveiled; rather, it adds a narrative to the city. The generations of today and tomorrow, passing through this square, will encounter the name and face of a man who spent part of his life for a cause beyond the geographical borders of Iran."
The presence of Haj Ramadan's bust in Palestine Square can strengthen the connection between the history of resistance and the public space of the city, helping to remind people of his efforts towards the liberation of the Palestinian nation.
