Trump and the Storm of Renaming: Will New Mexico Become New America?

توسط تحریریهٔ خبرگزاری ایرانیان 2 دقیقه زمان مطالعه 1

The United States has taken on a new face during Trump's presidency. These days, the President of the United States is enthusiastically changing names and redefining geography; from New Mexico to New America. Is this action merely a political joke or a sign of larger changes in domestic and foreign policies?

From Economic War to Renaming

While diesel fuel prices have reached their highest level and the Iran war has dragged on for months, Trump seems to be more interested in renaming and geographical changes. Recently, he tweeted that New Mexico should be renamed New America. This renaming appears to be a kind of escape from the harsh realities of wars and economic problems that the country is facing.

American Ocean on the Horizon

Trump has also indirectly hinted at the creation of an American Ocean. He amusingly stated, "We have a bay, we have a lake, and now we just need an ocean." These remarks seem to be a kind of joke with geography and existing realities. Does he really think he can rename oceans?

The renaming changes that Trump has engaged in may be a sign of his inability to manage crises. Currently, with multiple economic and political challenges facing America, these types of actions only serve as distractions from real problems.

Undoubtedly, Trump's bizarre renamings have become somewhat of a controversy in the political arena. Can he attract attention this way, or will these renamings be seen more as a futile trick?
