Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, Minister of Health and Medical Education, rang the school bell at a special ceremony, honoring the memory of about 80 martyr students of this school. These students sacrificed their lives during the eight-year imposed war in defense of their homeland, bringing great honor to the country.
Emphasis on the Combination of Health and Ethics in Student Education
The Minister of Health emphasized the importance of educating exemplary students, stating: "The combination of physical health, good ethics, and scientific effort is the foundation for educating exemplary students for the future of Iran." He added that these factors not only help in the personal growth of students but ultimately lead to the progress of the entire country.
Remembrance of the Sacrifices of Martyr Students
Zafarghandi, in his speech, recalled the sacrifices of students who, in the toughest conditions of war, stood with courage on the battlefronts. He emphasized: "Each of these martyrs represented a generation that sacrificed their lives for their homeland and will always remain in our memory." He also stated that we must strive to follow their example, working harder in the pursuit of knowledge and ethics, and ensure that the future generation responds to upcoming challenges with greater awareness and insight.
By ringing the school bell, the spirit of solidarity and love for the homeland was revived among the students, and upon hearing this sound, they once again took pride in the ideals and high values of their martyrs. This ceremony was seen not only as a commemoration of the martyr students but also as an opportunity to encourage today’s generation to learn and strive for the progress of the country.
At the end of the ceremony, Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi engaged in conversation with the students and urged them to always remember the martyrs in their lives and strive to be role models for others.
