The Football Federation, by releasing details about the national team's situation, referred to the challenges that exist in preparing this team for upcoming competitions. These problems have particularly led to changes in the player list considered by Amir Ghalenoei for the current FIFA Day.
Challenges in the Preparation Path
The participation of several national team players in the Asian competitions in Nagoya, injuries to some players in club matches, and administrative issues regarding the departure of some legionnaires were among the factors that forced the coaching staff to enter the camp with a different lineup than initially planned. Accordingly, it seems that the Football Federation is trying to manage these challenges and maintain team cohesion.

Changes in the Player List
Saeed Alahoi, the national team coach, had previously announced that some players present in the U23 camp who participated in the Asian Games in Nagoya would be added to the senior national team for upcoming FIFA Days. In this context, Ali Khatir, a member of the Football Federation's board, emphasized the importance of preparation conditions and the number of friendly matches, stating that the national team's performance should not only be evaluated based on final results.
He further referred to the recent national team camp and said: "Several young players, including Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh, Ismail Gholizadeh, and Amir Mohammad Razaghnia, were not available for the senior team due to their participation with the U23 team in the Nagoya competitions. Additionally, Mohammad Mohibi could not join the national team due to visa issues, and Saman Ghoddos was unable to participate due to injury."
Given these conditions, it seems that the Football Federation is striving to provide better conditions for the national team in light of the existing challenges and to align expectations from this team with the resources and preparation conditions for achieving significant successes in upcoming competitions.
Expectations and Realities
Ali Khatir emphasized at the end that addressing problems does not mean lowering expectations from the national team. He believes that to achieve great goals, the facilities and preparation conditions must also be commensurate with the level of expectations. This reflects the Football Federation's determination to improve the national team's conditions and succeed in future competitions.
Overall, these challenges and limitations require more attention and precise planning from the Football Federation to achieve the national team's great goals and shine on international fields.
