Ahmad Noorollahi, midfielder of the Iranian national football team, recently expressed happiness over the Asian Football Confederation's decision to postpone the Asian Cup to 2024. This change in timing, made due to the outbreak of various diseases and logistical issues in organizing the competitions, gives players more time for preparation and training.
Opportunity for More Preparation
Noorollahi said in an interview: "This is a great opportunity for me and other players to better prepare ourselves. The delay in the competitions allows us to enter the field in better condition and deliver our best performance." He also highlighted the importance of technical and psychological preparation for success in these competitions, stating: "Every player needs to be mentally and physically ready, and this extra time can help us."
