Tehran is preparing for a potential confrontation with the United States by presenting four diverse scenarios to respond to military threats from Donald Trump. Trump, who recently announced that he might unleash "one more small epic fury," has once again threatened Iran with military action.

Iran's Scenarios Against Military Threats

In order to react to any new military action from the U.S., Iran has designed four possible scenarios. The first scenario involves a direct attack on U.S. military targets. Iranian officials have warned intermediaries that in the event of another attack, U.S. forces and their warships will face a more serious threat.

The second scenario involves expanding the scope of conflicts to U.S. allied countries in the region. Iran is seeking the participation of its allied groups in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq to respond to any potential attack. These groups are on standby to assist Tehran if necessary.

Pressure on Energy and Digital Infrastructure

The third scenario involves intensifying pressure on energy and shipping infrastructure. The threat to target the oil and gas infrastructure of regional countries could shock the energy market. In October, the Strait of Hormuz experienced the worst month on record for attacks on commercial vessels, with 28 attacks reported that month.

Finally, the fourth scenario targets digital infrastructure. Tehran has made preparations to target undersea communication cables in the Persian Gulf. These attacks could disrupt internet communications and financial transactions, leading to global repercussions.

Iran has clearly warned that if another attack occurs from the U.S., its response will be far beyond previous reactions. Given the rising tensions and threats, uncertainty and concern at the international level, especially in the Middle East, are clearly visible.
