- Establishment of Legal Sovereignty of National Domain: Official registration of .ir domains with the legal identity of organizations to establish legal ownership and prevent sudden suspensions.
- Operational Migration and Infrastructure Stability Testing: Full deployment of services on the new national domain and conducting comprehensive tests to ensure accessibility validation.
- Traffic Direction and Unified Management: Implementation of permanent redirects from previous domains to national domains to maintain the audience chain.
- Review of Technical Dependencies: Close monitoring of dependencies including DNSSEC records and security certificates to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Cross-Informative Communication: Developing awareness campaigns to inform audiences and stakeholders about the organization's new digital address.
Importance of Digital Sustainability
The Strategic Management Center of AFTA has emphasized that digital sustainability is considered the foundation for business continuity in critical conditions. Therefore, the aforementioned actions must be fully implemented before any external disruptions or limitations occur. This center has stressed that merely registering a domain is not sufficient, and the complete migration cycle and recovery tests must be conducted.
At the end of this announcement, AFTA has requested all entities and organizations with critical infrastructures to report the progress and results of the implementation of these actions to the AFTA center so that cybersecurity preservation plans can be monitored and managed on a large scale.
