The Saudi missile attack on the city of Saada, Yemen, once again casts the shadow of war and humanitarian crisis over the people of this country. Today, Monday, following an airstrike, the eastern part of Saada was targeted by four missiles. This attack clearly demonstrates the continuation of Saudi aggression against Yemen, while the country grapples with deep humanitarian and social crises.
Increase in Saudi Airstrikes
The armed forces of Yemen announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, Saudi Arabia has conducted 26 airstrikes on various provinces of Yemen, including Taiz, Al-Jawf, Marib, Dhamar, and Saada, using F-15 aircraft. These attacks exacerbate the depth of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and raise concerns about further civilian casualties.

Escalation for Escalation Equation
The armed forces of Yemen stated in a statement that in light of these attacks, they will continue their activities and emphasized the equation of "escalation for escalation and blockade for blockade." These forces also referred to targeting some of Saudi Arabia's economic and oil infrastructure and announced that a ban on navigation in the Red Sea has been imposed for ships moving from Saudi Arabia to Yemen.
This situation increases tensions in the region and brings international concerns as well. While the people of Yemen suffer greatly from the consequences of war, these attacks only deepen the humanitarian catastrophe in this country.
