Sardar Azmoun, the Iranian national team striker, expressed his interest in the Tractor team and has asked the owner of this club to sign him. Azmoun, who recently spoke about the conditions of Al-Shabab, shared interesting opinions about facing Tractor in the first week of the Asian Elite League.
Sardar's Special Interest in Tractor
In a recent interview, Azmoun referred to his friendly relationship with Mohammadreza Zanozi, the owner of Tractor, and said: "It's strange, everything happens when we encounter Tractor. I really don't know! I called Mr. Zanozi yesterday and said, you said so much that you will take me, you will take me, and this happens, let's not suddenly have you take me by the neck!"
This expression of interest by Sardar in Tractor clearly shows his emotional connection to this team and also to Mr. Zanozi. He emphasized that his first choice has always been Tractor and he will only join another team if this club does not want him.
Respect for Major Rivals
Azmoun, who in the past participated in training sessions with Esteghlal and Persepolis to maintain his fitness, also had opinions about respecting these two major clubs. He said: "I must respect everyone. Persepolis and Esteghlal are very big, and I definitely respect them. Maybe in the future, I will go to their training and train again."
These statements show that despite his interest in Tractor, Sardar Azmoun also respects other major football teams in Iran and seeks to maintain good relations with them. He also jokingly mentioned that Ali Beiranvand, the national team goalkeeper, invited him to the Fajr team.
Ultimately, Sardar Azmoun, as one of the influential and popular players in Iranian football, is currently in a situation where his future is in his own hands and also depends on the decisions of Tractor club. Will this interest and emotional connection become a reality and will Sardar wear the Tractor jersey in the near future?
