Today, a new rain system will become active in the country, which according to the analysis of the latest meteorological forecast maps, will bring rainfall. These rains are expected to occur in areas of the northwest, the central Zagros slopes, and the southern Alborz slopes, and it is anticipated that they will be accompanied by strong winds, showers, and thunderstorms.
Areas Affected by the Rains
According to forecasts, the provinces of Kermanshah, Hamadan, and Markazi in the central Zagros slopes, as well as the provinces of Qazvin, Alborz, and Tehran in the southern Alborz slopes, will witness increased cloudiness and scattered rains. Additionally, scattered rains are predicted in the eastern regions of Ardabil and Gilan and some areas of Mazandaran and Golestan provinces.

Weather Forecast for the Coming Days
The Meteorological Organization has also announced that on Wednesday and Thursday, increased cloudiness, strong winds, and scattered showers are expected in the heights of the central Zagros and the southern Alborz slopes. In the coming days, with the strengthening of northern currents over the Caspian Sea, rainfall is predicted in northern East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, northern coasts, and the heights of Alborz, which will also be accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperature.
During these days, strong winds and dust in some areas of the northwest, west, parts of the center, and the southern Alborz slopes may lead to a decrease in air quality.
Weather Conditions in Tehran
The sky in Tehran will be partly cloudy today and will be accompanied by winds at times. According to forecasts, the maximum temperature in the capital will reach 26 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 18 degrees Celsius above zero. With increasing cloudiness and wind speed, there is also a possibility of light rainfall in the capital.
