Mostafa Motadien, a serious candidate for the CEO position of Esteghlal Club, was informally introduced during the ceremony for the new board members of the club. This ceremony was held without an official announcement of the CEO's name, but the statements of the board members and the atmosphere of the meeting indicated a final agreement on selecting Motadien as the CEO.

Congratulations and Emphasis on Capabilities

Hossein Hosseinzadeh, the chairman of the Persian Gulf Holding and a new member of the Esteghlal board, congratulated Motadien in his speech and announced that he would soon take over the management of the club. Ali Tajernia, another board member, also emphasized the many demands Motadien has for the CEO position and expressed hope that subsequent decisions would be clarified soon. Although these statements were not accompanied by an official appointment, the atmosphere of the ceremony indicated that the process of selecting Motadien was progressing rapidly.

Goals and Perspectives

In his first remarks as a board member, Motadien emphasized securing financial resources and moving Esteghlal towards financial independence. Referring to his management experiences in the industry and infrastructure, he considered the support of the Persian Gulf Holding and the coordination of board members as effective factors in improving the club's situation. He also expressed hope that Esteghlal could continue its development process during this new management period and achieve economic stability alongside sports successes.

Hosseinzadeh described Esteghlal as an entity with a broad cultural and social standing and highlighted the necessity of transforming football into an industry reliant on knowledge, technology, and commerce, developing international collaborations, attracting investment, and creating new revenue sources. Saeed Sadeghpour, another new board member, also prioritized increasing financial transparency and sustainable revenue generation.

With the conclusion of the introduction ceremony for the new members, the only remaining announcement is the CEO appointment, which is expected to take place next week. The absence of Mohammad Reza Najafi, a board member of Esteghlal, was noticeable at this ceremony, and Ali Nazari Joibari and Seyyed Hossein Alavi Moghadam, two former board members who were supposed to be honored for their services, were also not present at the meeting.
