Lamine Yamal, the young star of Barcelona, was recognized at the Copa award ceremony as the best young footballer in the world. This player, who has achieved great success at a young age, managed to win this award for the third time. Yamal appeared on stage with a not-so-happy face and respectfully reminded his competitors, especially Kobarsi, that this award should have gone to him.
A Moment Full of Emotions
The awards ceremony took place at the London Palladium theater, and Yamal said at the event: "Receiving this award is a great honor. I wish Kobarsi were here. This award should have gone to him. He deserves it, and I wish he could receive it himself." These words reflect Yamal's sportsmanship and humility, showing that he values not only his own successes but also human values and solidarity in sports.

Thierry Henry's Joke and Yamal's Reaction
One of the interesting moments of the ceremony was Thierry Henry, the former Arsenal and Barcelona player, asking Yamal: "You wanted this award today, right?" This question created a moment of surprise for Yamal. In response, he smiled and said: "I want all the awards, but if we're talking about this one, I wish it had gone to Kobarsi."
This reaction from Yamal reflects his character, as despite his successes, he still respects his friends and competitors. He also expressed gratitude towards his club Barcelona and his national team, stating that he intends to continue working hard to achieve more awards.
A Look at Lamine Yamal's Future
However, Yamal, on his challenging path as a young star, will face more pressures in the future. He must cope with the high expectations of fans and the media while focusing on his own development. His successes in recent years show that he has high potential and can become one of the greatest players in football history.
In the end, Lamine Yamal has won hearts not only with his awards and honors but also with his character and humility. He clearly demonstrates that success is not limited to technical skills but also depends on sportsmanship and respect for others.
