Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mohammad Aghamiri, the head of the Urban Development and Infrastructure Committee of Tehran City Council, announced the realization of major construction projects in the capital. During this period of urban management, 146 bridges have been constructed in various parts of Tehran, which on average means that a new bridge has been put into operation every 12 days.

Inauguration of New Phases of Shahid Abdolrahim Mousavi Highway

Aghamiri further announced that the first and third phases of Shahid Abdolrahim Mousavi Highway will be inaugurated this week. These projects will not only facilitate traffic but also improve urban infrastructure and increase safety. This highway, as a main artery in Tehran's traffic network, will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and speeding up access to different parts of the city.

Upcoming Construction Projects

The head of the Urban Development and Infrastructure Committee of Tehran City Council also emphasized in an interview with reporters that by the end of the year, 15 more construction projects will be put into operation. These projects include improvements to public transport infrastructure, the creation of green spaces, and the development of urban pathways. Aghamiri, highlighting the importance of these plans in improving the quality of life for citizens, stated that these actions will contribute to creating a sustainable and livable city.

Currently, Tehran faces multiple challenges, including heavy traffic, air pollution, and a lack of green spaces. Therefore, construction projects in various areas, including transportation, green spaces, and infrastructure improvements, are of special importance. Aghamiri assured citizens that these projects are designed and implemented with careful consideration of the real needs of the community.

The development of public spaces and the creation of suitable infrastructure, especially in underprivileged areas, is one of the priorities of urban management. According to Aghamiri, the goal of these actions is not only to improve the quality of life but also to increase citizens' satisfaction with their living environment. However, it is expected that with the continuation of this process, a fundamental transformation in the urban structure of Tehran will occur.
