Abutorabi Fard continued by referring to the annual prayer conference, saying: "Whoever prays has recognized the Almighty God. Many verses of the Quran emphasize the central role of prayer in reforming social relations. Prayer intertwines the fabric of society." He pointed to the impact of congregational prayer and mosques in mobilizing people in the streets and maintaining the country's security, stating: "Protecting the country's security is among the duties of the appointed community."
Emphasis on Holding Congregational Prayer
The temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran emphasized the importance of holding congregational prayer, saying: "Prayer should weave the fabric of society together and create a strong and resilient community." He further stated: "Participants in congregational prayers today see their mission, alongside the great Iranian nation, as protecting the country's security. If prayer is held in society, our social relations will certainly improve."
Abutorabi Fard, referring to the first verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, pointed to the characteristics of the righteous and said: "These characteristics include faith in the unseen and establishing prayer, which paves the way for a person to engage in good deeds." He also emphasized the importance of the relationship between humans and society, stating: "If this relationship is strong, a person will use everything they have for the happiness of society and be a messenger of health for the community."
Messenger of Health and Security
In conclusion, Abutorabi Fard referred to the role of worshippers in social and political transformations, saying: "Worshippers are the power creators of the resistance axis in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, and they are messengers of health for the Islamic and human community." He countered the words of the President of the United States, stating: "His words are a messenger of insecurity and threat, while the message of the President of Iran is a messenger of security and justice for humanity."
