Gholamali Haddad Adel on Thursday at the thirty-third National Prayer Congress held in Mashhad highlighted the importance of religious and moral education in society. He stated: "In a religious government, moral education is accompanied by inner faith and religious certainty, and in managing a religious society, the principle is that people should believe in God, know God, and fear God. If this is the case, they will not commit sins."

Emphasis on Establishing Prayer

Haddad Adel also stressed the necessity of promoting prayer in society and said: "We all need to think about promoting the establishment of prayer, and effective and wise management in this area is essential." He pointed out that even the construction of prayer rooms in recreational areas should be considered, as "unfortunately, some recreational areas do not even have a prayer room."

The head of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature considered the importance of attention to prayer fundamental and stated: "In a religious government, attention to prayer places the masses on the path of faith."

Hijab and the Need for Legislation

In another part of his speech, Haddad Adel addressed the issue of hijab and clarified: "If people believe in hijab, there is no need for legislation in this regard, and hijab cannot be organized by law." His remarks reflect the belief that creating a community committed to moral and religious principles can prevent the need for strict laws.

Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Javad Ali Akbari, head of the Policy Council of Friday Prayer Leaders, also referred to the topic of mosques and their role in society during this congress. He noted that many discussions regarding mosques had previously been neglected, but now a return and attention to mosques and their development has begun.

Ali Akbari announced the establishment of a headquarters for mosques at three levels: central, provincial, and county, adding: "More than 75,000 mosques have been registered in the central system, and of this number, about 10,000 mosques are ready for social activism."

He emphasized: "Gradually, all mosques should participate in social activism and become effective actors in various fields."

The thirty-third National Prayer Congress began today in the Quds Hall of the Razavi Shrine with a message from the Supreme Leader and will continue until this evening.
