Details of Iran's Sports Caravan
According to the list announced by the National Paralympic Committee, Iran's caravan, named "Sacrifice for Strong Iran," consists of 166 athletes, including 62 women and 104 men, competing in 15 sports disciplines. The fifth edition of the Para-Asian Games will be held from October 18 to November 1, 2026, hosted by Aichi Prefecture and the city of Nagoya in Japan.
This farewell ceremony is reminiscent of the public farewell ceremony for the Iranian national football team ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which took place on the evening of Wednesday, May 12, 2026, at the same square.
