Brigadier General Rahman Alidoost, head of the General Staff Organization of the Police, addressed the topic of educational exemptions in his recent press conference and emphasized that, given the delay in announcing the results of the national exam, the deadline for introducing candidates to this organization has been extended until the end of November. This action was taken to prevent these individuals from entering a state of absence and to facilitate the process of obtaining educational exemptions.

Reasons for Extending the Candidate Introduction Deadline

Brigadier General Alidoost explained that the General Staff Organization, in collaboration with officials from the Assessment Organization, decided to extend the introduction deadline for these individuals to support the successful exam candidates. He noted that approximately 450,000 educational exemptions are issued each year for individuals who become subject to military service between the exam date and the announcement of results.

Opportunities Available for Candidates

The head of the General Staff Organization also pointed out that candidates who become subject to military service during the time between the exam and the announcement of results had until the end of September to introduce themselves. However, if these individuals have more absences, they will not be eligible for this opportunity and must resolve their military service status.

This decision by the General Staff Organization was made to support young people and students who face challenges in their educational journey and reflects the organization's special attention to the educational and social conditions of the country's youth. In previous years, these exemptions have been presented as one of the most important solutions to encourage young people to continue their education and prevent military service absences.

Ultimately, Brigadier General Alidoost, emphasizing the importance of higher education and its impact on the future of young people, urged candidates to take advantage of this opportunity and take necessary actions to maintain their educational status. He also stressed that the General Staff Organization has always been at the service of young people and strives to provide suitable conditions for them.
