Customers in the mobile repair market on Jomhouri and Hafez streets are bargaining for discounts and seeking to revive their old, broken, or dead phones. These days, with the skyrocketing prices of smartphones, visiting repair technicians has become one of the profitable ways.

Busy Repair Market

The mobile repair shops in this area are always crowded with customers looking to solve their phone problems. Burnt motherboards and faulty batteries are commonly seen in this area. Each technician is busy with various tools including screwdrivers, opening pliers, and magnifying glasses, focusing all their attention on diagnosing and repairing phones.

Conversations between technicians and customers are frequently repeated. Phrases like "The antenna circuit is broken" or "At this rate, the repair cost will exceed the purchase price!" are exchanged among them. Khosrow Mardakhani, one of the customers, asks the technician for a discount, indicating the economic pressure on customers.

Challenges of Mobile Repairs

Technicians say that their peak busy season is in the summer, with many customers coming in daily for various repairs. Mohammad Abdollahi, one of the technicians, says: "Famous brands and updated models are more expensive to repair." This indicates that customers need to pay attention to the quality of parts in addition to the repair costs.

In another shop, a young customer with a provincial accent is looking for speed in repairing his phone. He mentions his need for an internet-enabled phone for work and asks the technician to prepare his phone as soon as possible. This situation shows that many customers are dependent on their mobile phones to continue their work and daily lives.

Technicians carefully and expertly address various phone issues. Ehsan, one of the well-known technicians, tells customers that currently, due to a shortage of original parts, repair prices have risen sharply. He warns customers not to look for original parts for their phone repairs, as only low-quality fakes are available in the market.

Overall, the mobile repair market not only reflects the daily needs of people but also serves as a reflection of the country's economic situation and the challenges in accessing technology and quality services.
