Efforts to Improve Safety
The HSE Secretariat of Tehran Municipality, operating under the supervision of the Disaster Prevention and Management Organization, continuously reviews and improves the safety status of amusement parks. According to statistics, safety issues in amusement parks have decreased by 20% over the past year. Districts 4, 5, and 15 have been identified as areas with the most significant safety problems in amusement parks, and efforts to mitigate risks in these areas are ongoing.
The Disaster Prevention and Management Organization is working to create an effective safety system across all areas of Tehran by conducting training courses and carefully selecting inspectors. These inspectors are responsible for monitoring the safety of amusement parks and other public places and receive continuous training to ensure the health of citizens.
The head of the Disaster Prevention and Management Organization has stated that if any safety issues are observed in any of Tehran's amusement parks, the organization will take serious action and refer dangerous violations to judicial authorities. Citizens have also been asked to report any safety concerns via the 137 hotline to the municipality.
