New Regulations for Employees
According to the issued circular, flexible working hours are available for female employees with children under 6 years old or employees with elementary school children. These changes allow employees in this category to arrive at their workplace one hour before the official working hours. Furthermore, this circular emphasizes that heating devices should be turned off at the end of working hours. This action is taken to save energy and reduce costs.
The circular states that all executive bodies, except for hospitals and health and treatment centers, are required to turn on heating and lighting devices simultaneously with the start of work and turn them off one hour before the end of working hours. These new regulations are also mandatory to preserve energy resources and reduce consumption during holidays.
The change of working hours for offices and banks, which has been approved by the Cabinet, reflects the government's efforts to optimize energy consumption and provide more effective services to the public. This action is particularly important given the challenges the country faces in energy supply.
