Brigadier General Sheikh, on the occasion of Sacred Defense Week, discussed the mechanisms of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army for enhancing combat capabilities and the recent achievements of this force. He commemorated the memory of the martyrs of the Sacred Defense and emphasized that the pride of today's Islamic Iran is due to the sacrifices of the martyrs. This week is not just a calendar week but an identity week that must be redefined for the younger generation to become familiar with their heroes and great figures who symbolize resistance.
Recovery of Islamic Iran's national and civilizational identity
Sheikh stated that resistance is a way of life and a school that must be taught to the younger generation. He also referred to Iran's effective role in history after the revolution and said that this country has emerged victorious from various events relying on soft power. According to him, today the world acknowledges Iran's power, which is the result of the bravery of the youth and people who have never been submissive to oppression.

He noted that during the eight-year Sacred Defense, Iran was able to stand firm and demonstrate its deterrent power to the world. He stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has established its authority in the global power process and has resisted the technologies of its enemies.
New challenges in the military arena
Brigadier General Sheikh spoke about the new developments in warfare following the 12-day and 40-day imposed wars and referred to the current situation, which is neither war nor peace. He stated that Iran is striving to expand its capabilities and to revise its tactics and techniques.
According to Sheikh, the correct combination of equipment and weapons has challenged the power of American and Zionist enemies. He referred to Iran's achievements in downing enemy drones and said that by achieving advanced technology, Iran has been able to shoot down enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.
He also mentioned Iran's successes in defense economics, stating that this country has managed to bring its enemy to the brink of bankruptcy at a low cost and deplete their military reserves. In Sheikh's opinion, in today's wars, casualties are not the main criterion; rather, the winner is the one who can challenge the enemy in a long-term game.
Combat power of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army
Brigadier General Sheikh further referred to the combat capability level of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army and stated that this force has succeeded in downing enemy unmanned aerial vehicles and limiting their presence around Iran. He also referred to the enhancement of the Arash drone and stated that this force is ready to use it in the battlefield.
Sheikh emphasized that despite sanctions, Iran has managed to stand up to the world's strongest military force, adding that national will triumphs over technology, which demonstrates the power and resilience of the Islamic Republic of Iran against global challenges and threats.
