Brigadier General Bahman Kargar, head of the Central Headquarters for Commemorating National Defense Events and Resistance, elaborated on the programs for the 46th anniversary of the Sacred Defense Week in his recent press conference and highlighted the vital role of the media in cognitive warfare. He expressed gratitude for the performance of the country's media, especially the national media, noting that these media outlets excelled in the recent hybrid war.
Acknowledgment of Media Efforts
Brigadier General Kargar further added: "The warriors defend the country in various fields, and the media also play an important role in cognitive warfare. Their efforts in this area are commendable." According to him, the performance of the media has influenced public opinion in countries and demonstrates the importance of cognitive and media warfare.

Status of Armed Forces and Defensive Initiatives
The head of the Central Headquarters for Commemorating National Defense Events and Resistance referred to the status of the armed forces in the recent war and said: "Despite the blows inflicted on the armed forces, commanders and new forces were able to continue the path of defending the country and stand firm against the enemy on various fronts." He also mentioned the country's advancements in the production of defense equipment and weapons, stating that the current situation is better than before the war.
Brigadier General Kargar, noting that new initiatives have emerged in the armed forces, added: "The use of missile capabilities and other defensive capacities of the country in the recent war demonstrates advancements in this area." He also referred to the approval of a 20-year strategic document by the Foundation for the Preservation of the Sacred Defense and Resistance, stating: "This document will be implemented from the beginning of the year 1405."
Programs for Sacred Defense Week
Brigadier General Kargar announced the holding of programs for Sacred Defense Week, stating: "This year, a total of 1,194 programs are planned across the country, which will be executed in the framework of 5,256 actions." He also mentioned that the programs for this week will begin on September 22 and noted that the first day will be held under the title "Veterans of the Sacred Defense and Resistance, Pioneers of Sacrifice and National Solidarity."
Brigadier General Kargar concluded by emphasizing that this year, Sacred Defense Week will be commemorated with the slogan "Labbaik Ya Khamenei" and that programs including ringing the bell of resistance in schools and holding university and seminary programs will take place on the second day of this week.
