Bostan, with a recorded temperature of 45.4 degrees Celsius above zero, has been recognized as the hottest spot in Iran and the fourth hottest spot on Earth. These days, temperatures in various parts of the country have sharply increased, with some areas reaching new records.
Top Positions in the Hottest Spots List
Alongside Bostan, the city of Omidiyeh with a temperature of 45.1 degrees ranks seventh, and Mehran with a temperature of 45 degrees ranks ninth among the hottest spots in the world. Additionally, Abadan with a temperature of 44.8 degrees is placed eleventh on this list. This increase in temperature clearly indicates the severe heat and harsh weather conditions in these areas.

Temperature Status in Other Regions
In Khuzestan province, in addition to Bostan, Omidiyeh, and Mehran, temperatures in the cities of Shush, Aghajari, Hendijan, Safiabad Dezful, Ramhormoz, Behbahan, Bandar Mahshahr, and Ahvaz reached 44 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the cities of Masjed Soleiman, Gotvand, Shushtar, and Shadegan recorded temperatures of 43 degrees, while Lali recorded a temperature of 42 degrees. These temperature changes can have significant effects on the daily lives of people and economic activities in these regions.
In Ilam province, the city of Mehran along with Dehloran, with a temperature of 44 degrees, were identified as the hottest areas of this province. In other parts of this province, temperatures in Lomaar and Dareh Shahr reached 42 degrees, and in Badreh, it reached 40 degrees Celsius.
Sistan and Baluchestan have also not been spared from the temperature increase, with Delgan at 44 degrees, Iranshahr and Bampour at 43 degrees, and Rask at 40 degrees recognized as hot spots in this province. In Fars province, Lamerd leads the temperature chart with 44 degrees, and other cities like Qir and Karzin, Kazeroon, and Jahrom have also experienced high temperatures.
In Hormozgan, the temperature in Bastak reached 44 degrees, and Rudan and Sardasht Bashagard also recorded temperatures of 42 degrees. In Kerman province, Kahnouj, Jiroft, and Anbarabad experienced temperatures of 43 degrees, while in Bam and Shahdad, the temperature reached 40 degrees.
In Bushehr, Borazjan was declared the hottest area with a temperature of 43 degrees, and Asaluyeh, Jam Tohid, and Kharg Island also showed high temperatures. Additionally, in Markazi province, Khomeijan recorded a temperature of 42 degrees, and in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Imamzadeh Jafar and Likak experienced temperatures of 41 degrees.
Given this increase in temperature, there is a necessity to pay attention to the necessary measures regarding the climate in these areas and the necessary forecasts to prevent potential problems in daily life and agriculture. According to forecasts, this temperature situation may continue in the coming days, requiring care and appropriate planning to cope with it.
