Bomb threats have recently affected all of Europe and disrupted the calm of the skies. In these incidents, at least eight flights from various European cities such as Copenhagen, Dublin, Helsinki, Madrid, Milan, and Warsaw were forced to change course and make emergency landings due to warnings of explosive materials.

Increased Security Measures at Airports

The Czech Republic police deployed their forces for the landing of four planes at Václav Havel Airport in Prague following a bomb threat. Police officials emphasized that all necessary security measures have been activated. Meanwhile, a flight from Dublin to Rome was also rerouted to the military airbase "Évreux" in western France and landed safely. The French Prime Minister's office announced that all 151 passengers and 6 crew members on this flight are safe, and army bomb disposal teams are examining the aircraft's status.

Similar Incidents on Other Flights

While a LOT Polish Airlines flight from Warsaw to Brussels landed safely at its destination, inspections found no dangerous materials on this flight. Additionally, a Wizz Air flight from Milan to Bucharest also landed safely after receiving a bomb threat. Finnair announced that flight number 1761 from Helsinki to Rome was targeted by a bomb threat, but no unusual incidents were observed after landing in the Italian capital.

Following these incidents, three Ryanair flights en route to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, were forced to make emergency landings due to bomb threats. Two flights from Copenhagen and Madrid landed safely at "Vasil Levski" Airport in Sofia, while a third flight from Stansted, London, was rerouted to Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second-largest city, and landed safely.

These alarming incidents occur amid several other flights in Europe receiving fake bomb threats in recent weeks, leading to searches, rerouting, and even military escorts. These events indicate an increase in geopolitical tensions and signs of "disruption" in various systems, prompting European officials to warn about "hybrid threats."
