Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, recently stated that the regime will expand its activities in response to increasing maritime threats. During a visit to the Ashdod naval base, he emphasized the importance of strengthening Israel's navy and said: "The sixth submarine has arrived in Israel, and we need more submarines."

Maritime Threats and the Need to Strengthen the Navy

Netanyahu pointed to maritime threats ranging from the Strait of Hormuz and Bab-el-Mandeb to the Mediterranean Sea, adding: "The maritime domain has become an international battlefield, and the Strait of Hormuz is the largest example of this. We will not allow our enemies to threaten our maritime space." According to him, the Israeli navy will be equipped with more submarines and ships to stand against these threats.

Transformation in Israel's Naval Warfare Strategy

Netanyahu emphasized that Israel aims to become one of the world leaders in surface and underwater naval warfare, stating: "This action will help us have greater protection against maritime threats." These remarks indicate changes in Israel's military strategy in response to regional developments that may lead to further tensions.

On the other hand, these actions by Israel may provoke reciprocal reactions from neighboring countries and other international actors. Given the existing tensions in the region, especially in the Strait of Hormuz, which is considered a vital oil transit route, the expansion of Israel's naval capabilities could lead to increased tensions and conflicts.

Netanyahu also pointed out that Israel is seriously seeking to strengthen its defensive capabilities at sea, which will help protect the national interests of the country. He expressed confidence in this regard, announcing that the regime's future plans include the purchase and development of new technologies in the military field.

Given these developments, the future of maritime and security relations in the Middle East will face new challenges. Observers believe that Israel's actions could intensify military competition in this area and impact regional stability.
