Bashar Resan, the Iraqi midfielder and fan favorite of Persepolis, is on the verge of returning to this team. While his name has been mentioned as one of the transfer options for Persepolis in the winter, Mehdi Tartar, the head coach of the team, is evaluating the player's situation. Resan, who has a history of playing for Persepolis, has worn the jerseys of Al-Qatar, Al-Merrikh, and Pakhtakor after leaving the Reds' camp in the winter of 2021, and now with statistics of 133 games, 19 goals, and 40 assists, he is considered one of the main options for acquisition.
Contract Conditions of Bashar Resan
Bashar Resan's contract with Pakhtakor will expire at the end of the current half-season, after which he will be a free agent. According to published reports, there is a clause for extending his contract, but Persepolis officials have stated that they do not intend to spend more than 700 to 800 thousand dollars to acquire this player. This matter could significantly impact his final decision.

Farhan Jafari; Another Option to Strengthen Midfield
Alongside Bashar Resan, young midfielder Farhan Jafari from Malavan is also being considered as an option for Persepolis. Given Mehdi Tikdari's brilliance in the left-back position and the presence of Abolfazl Jalali, the number 10 position has now become the main priority for this team in the upcoming transfer window. Persepolis is looking to attract quality and experienced players to improve their performance in the second half of the competition.
In this context, the choice between Bashar Resan and Farhan Jafari could impact Persepolis's fate in the Premier League. Both players have their unique characteristics and can help strengthen the midfield of this team. Persepolis fans hope that the final choice will be beneficial for the team and lead to better performance in the remainder of the season.
