Bahman Kargar, the head of the Foundation for the Preservation of Sacred Defense Works and Values, elaborated on the programs of the Sacred Defense Week across the country in a press conference. He stated that the total number of programs this year will reach 1,194, emphasizing that this number will amount to 5,256 actions in total.
Diverse Programs in the Sacred Defense Week
In this meeting, Bahman Kargar referred to the categorization of programs, saying: "The military's share of these programs is 277 programs and 2,000 actions, while 917 programs and 3,256 other actions will be carried out at the national level." He also mentioned that these programs will commence on September 22 and added: "This day has been named in memory of the martyr leader and designated as the day of veterans."

Military Power and Modern Technologies
Kargar continued by referring to the military capabilities of the country, stating: "We have destroyed enemy ships with ballistic missiles. God willing, enemies will also face a real surprise." He pointed out the new developments in modern warfare, adding: "In today's wars in the field of science and knowledge, extraordinary events occur that demonstrate the power and capabilities of our country."
According to Kargar, these programs not only commemorate the bravery and sacrifices of the Sacred Defense era but also convey these values to the younger generation so that they become familiar with the history of the country and the values for which it was fought. He also emphasized the necessity of solidarity and unity in holding these programs, stating: "We must utilize all the capacities of the country to commemorate these days so that the memory of the martyrs remains alive."
The programs of the Sacred Defense Week will be widely held in all parts of the country and will include various ceremonies, exhibitions, scientific and cultural meetings, and social activities. These actions aim to enhance public awareness and revive memories of past epic events, serving as an opportunity to revisit the history and rich culture of the country.
