Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday prayer leader of Mashhad, congratulated the anniversary of the birth of Imam Hasan Askari (AS) during today's Friday prayer sermon (September 27) with the widespread presence of pilgrims and visitors in the Imam Khomeini (RA) courtyard of the holy shrine of Razavi.
A Turning Point in the Lives of Youth
Ayatollah Alamolhoda referred to the approaching start of the academic year, introducing this time as a turning point in the one-year life of students. He said: "The end of September and the beginning of October is the time for teenagers to enter schools and young people to enter universities, and this stage should be examined with special care and attention."

This year, he stated, the atmosphere of universities will be different with a jihadi spirit and resistance that has emerged from two hundred nights of standing firm and neutralizing enemy plots. Ayatollah Alamolhoda emphasized: "Our youth will enter universities this year with a great goal and a strong spirit."
The Necessity of Joy and Vitality in Universities
The Friday prayer leader of Mashhad continued: "Joy and vitality for youth in this environment are essential, but vulgar programs should not be implemented in universities in the name of joy. This is a betrayal to the students."
He pointed out two harms of these programs: "First, the epic and revolutionary spirit of the youth will be weakened, and second, religious and Basij youth will protest against these vulgar programs. These protests can endanger unity and cohesion in universities."
Ayatollah Alamolhoda also warned university administrations not to allow inappropriate programs to be imposed on students in the name of joy, and this matter should be managed with care.
Enemy Plans for Universities
He further referred to enemy plans, stating: "The enemy wants to transfer internal pressure to the country by creating chaos in universities. Since the enemy has failed in the military arena, it is now seeking to create unrest in universities."
Ayatollah Alamolhoda addressed university managers, saying: "You must be loyal to the blood of the martyrs and the ideals of the revolution and not allow enemy programs to be implemented in universities."
The Friday prayer leader of Mashhad expressed hope that with proper management and insight, universities would overcome these challenges and continue on the path of serving the country and religion.
