Alireza Zakani, the Mayor of Tehran, in his speech on the occasion of the Day of God, November 4, emphasized the historical experience of our country and introduced America as a traitor and a great betrayer. He stated that these betrayals are not only unreliable but should also be regarded as a historical reality.
Historical Transformations and Their Impact
Zakani continued his remarks by referring to the historic action of the students following the line of Imam on November 4, 1979. He considered this action as the capture of the center of corruption and a conspiracy led by America. The Mayor of Tehran, recalling Imam Khomeini's words that referred to this event as "a revolution greater than the first revolution," emphasized the significance of this transformation in Iran's history.

Consequences of America's Betrayals
According to Zakani, America's repeated betrayals in international relations, especially with Iran, have threatened the identity and stability of the country. He noted: "Historical experience shows that whenever we trusted America's promises, we were harmed, and we must learn from these experiences. This was clearly observed in recent years with America's unilateral withdrawal from the JCPOA."
In this speech, Zakani also referred to the necessity of national unity and attention to domestic capabilities, adding: "Iran must rely on its own capabilities and utilize internal capacities to stand against foreign betrayals." He emphasized that only through unity and solidarity can we overcome challenges and achieve greater progress.
Zakani's words on the Day of God, November 4, once again highlighted the importance of history and its experiences for the youth and future generations. He urged students and young people to be aware of history and strive to preserve the values and ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
