Alireza Beiranvand, the goalkeeper of Tractor team, was sentenced to four months of suspended suspension following a ruling by the Status Determination Committee. This ruling was taken to the Appeals Committee after an objection was raised by Persepolis club. At this stage, Beiranvand's suspension was lifted from its suspended state, and he is now facing a four-month ban from competitions.
The Judicial System of Sports and the Suspension of the Ruling
After Tractor referred to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, this body issued an order to suspend the execution of the ruling. This decision did not mean the cancellation of the suspension, but rather halted its execution until the case was reviewed. If Beiranvand had served his suspension and then the ruling at CAS changed, he would have lost the opportunity to participate in competitions, and compensating for this damage would not be possible.

Pursuit of Persepolis's Rights and Emphasis on Responsibilities
In this situation, the issue of Beiranvand's military service and the possibility of his departure from Tractor has also been raised. However, Peyman Hadadi, the CEO of Persepolis, emphasized in an exclusive interview that the change in the goalkeeper's status does not justify dropping the case, and the club considers it its duty to pursue Persepolis's rights.
Hadadi regarding the latest status of the case in CAS said: "We sent a letter a few days ago asking why the ruling has not come. Yesterday they messaged us and scheduled a video conference for the end of October for both sides to present their defenses."
He also responded to the question of whether he received any advice to drop the case: "Not at all. I am not someone who takes advice easily. Contrary to what is said that the head coach and the manager and others are chosen from outside and Hadadi just signs, time has shown that this is not the case."
Concerns and Challenges Ahead
In response to the question of whether Persepolis would be willing to stop pursuing the case with the mention of Beiranvand's military service, Hadadi said: "Why should we stop? We are responsible to our shareholders and our fans. Mr. Beiranvand is a respectable figure and the national team goalkeeper, but whoever he is, we will definitely pursue the club's rights."
Hadadi also referred to the case of Yasin Salmani and the disciplinary action against the team players: "As we did regarding Mr. Yasin Salmani, we went and filed a complaint. He acknowledged the club's rights and apologized, and we stopped the case. Our national team players who did not attend training were all taken to the Disciplinary Committee. Order, law, and the club's rights are one side, and friendship is another matter."
Ultimately, as Alireza Beiranvand's temporary exemption will end in 18 days, the final court session regarding his case will be held in 26 days. This controversial case, which began due to the termination of the contract with Persepolis and joining Tractor, seems to be reaching a conclusion with his departure from Tractor.
